It appears that the official account of rising American star Sydney Sweeney has been hacked by cryptocurrency scammers.

The account has recently been busy promoting the creation of a fake Solana-based coin named after the star “Euphoria.”

One post stated that Sweeney will appear live on X Spaces, formerly known as Twitter Spaces, to talk about the token.

The hacked account also posted information about a fake gift and a symbolic burn.

At the time of writing, the fraudulent posts have already been deleted from the actresses’ official X account.

The 26-year-old star is the latest target for scammers trying to cash in on celebrity meme coins, which have recently emerged as a new cryptocurrency trend thanks to influencers like Iggy Azalea.

Heavy metal band Metallica and rapper 50 Cent are among the celebrities whose social media accounts have recently been hacked in order to promote fake currencies.

This isn’t the first time Sweeney has been hacked by crypto scammers. In January, a revealing image of the famous actress was used to promote another fake Solana-based coin.
